If any of you are wanting to try the Zombie game mod for CoD4 then you can download the necessary files from within the game itself when you join a server running the mod but unfortunately, as I have found, the download system within CoD4 is a) very slow and b) very flaky.
Simple create a subfolder under the 'Mod' folder in your Call of Duty 4 game folder and call it "zombie" (lower case) so that your path looks like this C:\Program Files\Activision\CoD4\Mod\zombie
Extract the contents of the zip file in to the newly created \zombie folder. Done!
